I (although some who only know me via the forum may contest this) am quite good with people. Getting someone interested in whatever it is you are wanting them to do is at your benefit because the more enthusiastic they are about it, the more likely they are to do it as well as do it right. Cutting the pipe and rewelding it at a different angle? Heh, no problem. I'll just pop my hood and let the bling bling sell itself. "I want this radiator to fit because of this (as I open hood)." Jaw drops, they are under my spell. I once convinced a falcon and a little monkey to go rob the bank for me just for a peek under my hood... LOL Anyways, $20 for cutting and welding an aluminum pipe goes on all day. I'm not sure where you have looked, but if you are paying more than that for the same thing, I'd suggest looking for another welder/fabricator; you're getting jacked. : for $20. Usually $50 -$75 is the going rate. Most welders don't have time to do nily little jobs for $20.
